Zabeh Ullah

Founder & Principal

Namak Mandi, Peshawar — 2017

Bangkok, Thailand — 2017

Every stone we hold is a record of geological time.

I founded Precision to return a sense of reverence to the way rare stones are sourced, documented, and presented. The earth yields these treasures slowly — some over millions of years — and they deserve to be handled with equal patience.

Our house is rooted in Namak Mandi, where three generations of my family have evaluated emeralds, rubies, and tourmalines brought in from Swat, Gilgit, and the mountains of eastern Afghanistan. We have kept those relationships intact, and extended them through our offices in Bangkok and Toronto.

Each piece you see here has been hand-selected, photographed under controlled light, and documented with its locality, treatment status, and gemological readings. Where certification is available from an independent laboratory, we provide it. Where it is not, we state so plainly. Nothing else.

Featured stones.

The oldest gem market in the Hindu Kush.

Namak Mandi, set in the old quarter of Peshawar, is where stones from the northern valleys, Afghanistan, and Central Asia have arrived for more than a century. Traders gather at first light; deals are made over tea, across low tables, stone by stone.

Our principal office sits in the heart of this market. It is not a showroom — it is a working house. Rough comes in, it is cleaned, graded, and either committed to private clients or released, piece by piece, into our catalog.

The House · Principles

Three offices.
One standard of certainty.

Every stone we release has passed through the same process, regardless of where it was acquired or who acquires it.

01

Independently Certified

Gemological reports from GIA, IGI, AIGS, and GRS are attached to every certified piece. When a stone is uncertified, we disclose it plainly and document our own findings.
